Susanne Fleischer, MD, is physician and medical specialist for ENT and phoniatrics. After residency in Mainz and Düsseldorf, in 1999 she joined Markus Hess as senior resident at the University Medical Center Hamburg Eppendorf, UKE, Department of Voice, Speech and Hearing Disorders. She specializes in digital laryngoscopy, stroboscopy and the clinical diagnosis and management of organic and functional voice disorders. She has contributed to several leading textbooks and published numerous articles on related subjects.
Together with Markus Hess and Frank Müller, in 2014 they founded the first multidisciplinary voice clinic in Germany, the MEDICAL VOICE CENTER (www.mevoc.de), which is located in Hamburg on the grounds of the UKE.
