Dr. Veronika Segler is a board-certified specialist in Otolaryngology (ENT) with a particular focus on endoscopic diagnostics and phonosurgical procedures of the larynx, performed under both general and local anesthesia.
She completed her medical studies in Göttingen and Munich. Her postgraduate clinical training took place at the Department of Otolaryngology at Unfallkrankenhaus Berlin, the Voice Care Center in Bad Rappenau, and the Department of Hearing, Voice and Speech Medicine at the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf. During this time, she developed extensive expertise in the comprehensive diagnostic evaluation and surgical management of voice disorders.
In addition to her surgical training, she obtained further qualifications in Lichtenberger® Voice Therapy and manual laryngeal therapy. By integrating surgical precision with a functional and holistic understanding of voice physiology — also informed by her own vocal experience — she pursues an integrative treatment approach.
Since 2024, she has further refined her phonosurgical expertise in close collaboration with Prof. Markus Hess, with a particular emphasis on voice feminization surgery and laser-based laryngeal procedures. Since January 2026, she has been a permanent member of the Medical Voice Center team.
